about

Wildflower, an Australian indigenous girl band (5 young women and 3 young men) from the Northern Territory, follow in the footsteps of their uncles and fathers from the internationally known rock band Nabarlek. Their music isn’t hip hop, rap, or dance, like many groups of their era and age. Instead, they have developed their own blend of singable melodies and hook lines to produce a funky style of rock, in their own indigenous language. Their sound is captivating and bewitching and expresses a resounding sense of maturity well beyond their ages.
